Our newly installed Prima Platino 1530 slab laser cutting system equipped with an automatic pallet changer is capable of cutting precisely through thicknesses of up to:
- Mild Steel – 20mm
- Stainless Steel – 8mm
- Aluminium – 6mm
All sheets are available up to a large 3m x 1.5m cutting bed.
This machinery presents design engineers with new possibilities for cost-effective component manufacture.
Intricate shapes can be cut from either metal sheet or plate in tube, angles and box sections without the need for investment in tooling.
Middlesex Laser accepts data in many formats including drawings and sketches, DXF, DWG and templates. We also work from data supplied to generate CAD/CAM designs.
We provide a subcontract laser cutting service as well as being able to supply all the following in house:
- CNC Pressbraking
- CNC Forming & Punching on our Trumpf Punch presses
- MIG welding
- TIG welding
- Spotwelding
